U-Haul Gallery is pleased to announce the inaugural edition of the U-Haul Art Fair. Featuring 11 booths from independent galleries and curators, the Art Fair marks the first time that the U-Haul Gallery has extended the benefits of the U-Haul as a presentation space to outside parties. Running from September 5-7, the fair presents a legitimate alternative to the fiscally and environmentally unsustainable circus of global arts events. Amidst a smattering of gallery closures and market contractions, the U-Haul Gallery, and Art Fair, stands at a unique juncture challenging the norms and expectations of contemporary arts presentation. Parked in Chelsea the Art Fair will plant its flag in the heart of New York’s art world, daring galleries and patrons to step off the hamster wheel.
